Checking the water and sewage situation of Alborz in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Energy
The current and future conditions of water and sewage were explained and reviewed by the Director General of Alborz Water and Sewerage in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Water and Wastewater.
According to the Alborz Water and Sewerage Public Relations, in this meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the President's visit to Alborz on Thursday, April 7, in the form of the province's water and electricity industry integration council, Engineer Javanbakht said: Drinking water is one of the government's main concerns. It is because the demands of the people have never been in line with the plans in water supply and there has been dissatisfaction with the management of water resources for a long time. Al-Barzham province is a new province with incomplete infrastructure and the standard ratios in the country also acknowledge the same issue.
He added: "Despite the many problems and lack of rainfall in Alborz, with high determination and perseverance, we can overcome the problems due to the appropriate budget that has been seen in the field of water for 1401."
According to this report, Engineer Mehdizadeh, CEO of Alborz Water and Sewerage, also presented a report explaining the situation of water and sewage and said: Alborz Water and Sewerage, in order to expedite the use of new allocations of drinking water from Karaj and Taleghan dams, construction The third module of water treatment plant No. 2 is currently 92% physical progress and it is predicted that with the operation of this project in early June with a capacity of 500 liters per second and cost 600 billion rials, the resilience of water supply facilities to the metropolis Karaj to increase significantly.
He continued: "Also, the project to upgrade the water treatment plant No. 1 in Karaj using a ceramic filter with a capacity of 100 liters per second (from 300 to 400 liters per second) with an estimated 150 billion rials is on the company's agenda, which by exploiting these two The project, the new allocations related to the cities of Karaj and Ferdis will be realized.
Mehdizadeh added: "Considering the significant dependence of water production and distribution on the stability of electricity flow, we are currently pursuing an increase in surface water allocation up to 50% of water production, which is one of the important demands of the province and in this regard the construction of water treatment plant No. 3 with a capacity of 600 liters per second within three years in the executive plan of Alborz ABFA.
