Alborz wastewater treatment plants were equipped with emergency electricity
In order to prevent the shutdown, five wastewater treatment plants in Alborz province were equipped with emergency power generators.
Payam Tawafi, Director of the Alborz Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation and Development Office, announced the news: Active wastewater of Alborz province to be equipped with diesel generator to generate electricity.
He mentioned the number of diesel generators installed in the treatment plants as five and said: Karaj wastewater treatment plants, Hashtgerd new city, Mehr Ghooch Hesar, Mehdi Abad and Purkan housing are places where emergency power generators have been installed.
Tawafi called the output power of 5 devices as 1600 kWh and added: for this purpose, repair and use of unused parts in ABFA central warehouse has been exploited, which is equivalent to the value of 45 billion Rials for the purchase of equipment.
He also announced the retrofitting and painting of metal package bodies and the installation of electromagnetic flowmeters in all active treatment plants in the Karaj and Taleghan river basins with the aim of controlling important parameters in the wastewater treatment process and collecting more accurate statistics and information from their effluents. 5 electromagnetic flowmeters have been installed in Chalous and Taleghan road treatment plants.
